Notifications on every device, without an app store

Turn them on once per device and the tracker can reach you even when it is closed — in the browser on Windows, macOS and Linux, and as a proper app notification on Android, iPhone and iPad once it sits on the home screen. It is Web Push: nothing to install, no account to create.

Notifications arrive in the background. Tapping one opens the tracker, or jumps to the tab you already had open.

Android, iPhone and desktop

Add the tracker to your home screen and alerts look like any installed app, icon and all. On iPhone and iPad that home-screen step is what switches them on (iOS 16.4 and later).

Silent until you ask

Each phone, tablet and computer opts in for itself under Settings → Notifications, and one tap turns it back off.

Questions

Do I need to install anything from an app store?

No. It runs in the browser and can be added to your home screen, where it opens full screen with its own icon and no browser bars.

Do notifications work on an iPhone?

Yes, from iOS 16.4 onwards, once the tracker has been added to the home screen — that is an Apple requirement for web apps, not ours. On Android and in desktop browsers they work either way. Every device opts in separately under Settings → Notifications.

Does it track my location?

No. Trips are recorded from odometer readings you type in. There is no GPS and no background tracking.

Can several people use the same car tracker?

Yes — that is what it is for. Every entry is tagged with who logged it, and only one trip can be open at a time so two people cannot both be driving on paper.

What if someone types the wrong number?

Any entry can be edited. The last entry can be deleted by whoever made it. Every change is kept in an audit log, so corrections are visible rather than silent.

Can I get the data out?

Yes. The optional Google Sheets sync writes every trip, payout and audit entry into a spreadsheet you own, in real time.

How many vehicles can I run?

As many as you like. Each vehicle gets its own tracker with its own URL and its own records, priced separately.

Can I pay monthly?

No — it is billed a year at a time, in advance. The monthly figure is just how the annual price is worked out.

What happens after the first year?

It renews at €12 a year per vehicle. The setup fee is one-off and is not charged again.
